Behavior Technician
About The Position
Kreative Community Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our dynamic team serving adults with intellectual and developmental (IDD) who require enhanced behavior supports in a community-based, day program setting. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients by promoting positive behavior changes and enhancing their quality of life. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with individuals with IDD (personal or professional)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow detailed plans and document electronic data
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping individuals improve their quality of life
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAs
- Collect and accurately record data
- Work one-on-one with participants
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment
- Communicate regularly with KCS team
