Centria is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their team as Behavior Technicians, offering the opportunity to significantly impact the lives of children with autism. In this role, you will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will utilize evidence-based techniques to teach essential communication, social, and daily living skills, while also working to reduce interfering behaviors. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping children with autism achieve their full potential, possessing patience, compassion, and strong teamwork skills. Comprehensive training will be provided, making prior experience unnecessary. The role requires resilience, as children can be unpredictable and potentially confrontational, and involves physical activity such as standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and occasionally carrying children or objects up to 50 pounds.
