Hands on initial and ongoing, client specific, training Voluntary Benefits – Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability coverage, Accident and Critical Illness Coverage What you’ll be doing at Autism Care Partners: BTs work one-on-one with children at our center, implementing BCBA-designed clinical plans that help clients build critical communication, social, and other adaptive skills. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position. Utilize the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA), such as reinforcement and prompting, to teach the clients adaptive behaviors in developmental areas, such as language, socialization, play, self-help, and motor skills. Utilize the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA), to address behavior reduction goals. With training, implement skill development programs and perform appropriate physical guidance as needed to ensure client safety. Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior. Convert sessions in a timely manner. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment. Track and record RBT hours each month and submit within timeframe. Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required trainings. Attend trainings as required. Maintain high degree of confidentiality. Perform other related duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED required
  • No experience required! We will train!
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to frequently assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) while attending to the needs of active children.
  • Must be willing and able to utilize quick body movements as indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan while working with challenging behavior.
  • No prior criminal history
  • Ability to utilize technology
  • Basic computer skills- Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Windows
  • Ability to operate basic office equipment
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
