About The Position

The Behavior Technician is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the Behavior Support plan developed for individuals with ID/DD across multiple locations. The Center for Family Support (CFS) mission is to provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental and related disabilities. We are the first agency in New Jersey and New York to achieve the Council on Quality and Leadership Certification (CQL). Requirements

High school diploma/GED required
1+ year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
3+ years of experience working in the Human Service field

Responsibilities

Participate in the assessments of individuals receiving support services at CFSNJ locations as assigned.
Monitoring the implementation of individual behavior support plans, behavior contracts, interaction guidelines and similar.
Maintain all records in an accurate, organized, and timely manner.
Act as a liaison to any family member, provider agency, medical or behavioral health practitioner or federal/state representative; always representing CFSNJ’s philosophy and standards for excellent service.
Ensure the timely collection of data and any associated paperwork necessary to document services rendered. This includes electronic data collection and attendance, Daily Logs/Training Records, Behavioral Charts, and/or any documents associated with Behavior Support Services as mandated by NJ DDD.
Responsible for essential duties as described across multiple sites.
Work closely and cooperatively with other members of the CFS clinical team, CFS Administrative team, and consultants to ensure proper coordination of services.
