Behavior Technician - Full Time

We are seeking a Behavior Technician to join our team in our Grand Rapids, MI location. Must be available Monday - Friday from 10:45-6:15p. Pay $16.95-18 per hour, depending on experience If you are a Paraprofessional, Registered Behavior Technician, Behavior Health Technician, or a Personal Care Aide, this is the opportunity for you! No experience required - we provide PAID RBT training and have opportunities for clinical supervision towards licensure (BCBA). POSITION DETAILS At Merakey, you can make a change in the life of a child. Using evidence-based treatments (such as Applied Behavior Analysis – ABA) to provide 1:1 direct service in family homes, schools, and community settings. Complete timely ongoing data collection, including parent/staff correspondence and all required documentation. You will get to have fun and let your personality shine while applying individualized treatment.
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school degree is required
- Associate or bachelor’s degree highly preferred
- Current RBT certification OR ability to complete 30 hours of competency-based training within 1 week of employment
- Availability to work 2+ evenings until 6pm required
Nice To Haves
- 6 months of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities preferred
- Experience working with children with autism is preferred
Responsibilities
