Atlanta Autism Center is hiring to train Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) for full-time positions at our Alpharetta location. Training class is held at our Peachtree Corners location, Mon through Fri, 8a-4:30p, for 2 weeks. You will be fully prepared to sit for the Registered Behavior Technician exam. Upon passing, you will be promoted to RBT, and your rate will be increased to $22/hr. Once an RBT, you'll have the opportunity to level up to RBT II, RBT III and earn increases up to $26/hr. Job Description - Registered Behavior Technician Deliver ABA therapy in a 1:1 or small group format Accurately implement skill acquisition programs and implement the individual treatment plan Accurately implement behavior reduction plans, behavior protocols, and/or behavior support plans Maintain precise and meticulous client progress records, which may include data sheets, graphs, daily notes, anecdotal information, etc. Maintain a safe, clean, stimulating, and fun environment for the client Collaborate with the client family and related professionals as needed regarding client updates, progress, behavioral concerns, etc. Uphold company policies and standards of conduct; implement ABA intervention in line with the BACB ethical guidelines Promptly report all incidents of abuse/neglect and train others to recognize signs of abuse, neglect, and exploitation Provide high quality customer service to clients and their families Participate in initial and ongoing staff training as offered, as well as commit to continued learning and performance improvement

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma/GED required; bachelors, or associate’s degree in psychology, social work, special education or related field preferred
  • Relevant experience preferred
  • Must be physically fit and able to lift and carry patients
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal relationship skills
  • Desire for continued learning opportunities, and willingness to embrace instruction
  • Ability to work with multi-disciplinary team members
  • Computer skills
