About The Position

Proud Moments ABA is a national behavioral health organization dedicated to providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children on the autism spectrum, ranging from birth to age 21. The organization is actively seeking Behavior Technicians (BT's) to join its expanding team. BT's play a vital role in the treatment process, delivering one-on-one specialized care in collaboration with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) within a center-based environment. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about making a significant positive impact on children's lives, with comprehensive training provided for those who demonstrate the necessary passion.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Reliable personal transportation with the ability to commute consistently to assigned work locations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules or priorities
• A passion and love for working with children
• Ability to work in an everchanging, fast paced environment
• Have a strong, reliable work ethic (your clients depend on you)
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with children and parents

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working with children preferred
• Prior experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred
• Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client to implement behavioral plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan and report progress
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans
• Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties
• Physically keep up with clients as they move about the session area(s). This will require many physical activities including, but not limited to, standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, kneeling, and generally keeping pace with children from 2-15 years old
• Any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA
