About The Position

Proud Moments ABA is a national behavioral health organization that provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children on the autism spectrum from birth to age 21. They are seeking Behavior Technicians (BT's) to join their growing team. BT's are an essential part of the treatment team, providing one-on-one specialized treatment in partnership with Board Certified Behavior Analysts to clients in a center-based setting. This role is for individuals looking to provide life-changing treatment to children, with comprehensive training provided for those who have the passion.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• A passion and love for working with children

• Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules or priorities

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working with children preferred
• Prior experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred
• Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client to implement behavioral plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan and report progress
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans
• Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties
• Physically keep up with clients as they move about the session area(s). This will require many physical activities including, but not limited to, standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, kneeling, and generally keeping pace with children from 2-15 years old
• Any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA
