About The Position

Autism Center of Excellence is hiring full-time Behavior Technicians (BTs) to join our clinic team in Columbia, MD.
Behavior Technicians provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to pediatric clients ages 2–14 under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role focuses on helping children develop communication, social, and daily living skills through structured, evidence-based therapy.
This position is ideal for individuals interested in psychology, education, behavioral health, or pediatric therapy who want meaningful hands-on experience working with children in a supportive clinic environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• RBT certification preferred but not required
• BT candidates will receive paid training toward RBT certification
• Experience working with children preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Professional, dependable, and compassionate
• Ability to pass required background checks
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

• Experience in ABA, childcare, education, or behavioral health is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to pediatric clients
• Implement treatment plans developed by supervising BCBAs
• Support communication, social, and daily living skill development
• Collect and document behavioral data during sessions
• Follow behavior intervention and safety plans
• Collaborate with supervising clinicians and caregivers
• Maintain professional and timely documentation
