About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join Applebury Behavior Associates. The Behavior Technician will work with individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior plans designed by Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA).

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in ABA and working with children.
• Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
• Familiarity with behavioral health practices.
• Experience in data collection.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of maintaining confidentiality.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a LABA, other Licensed Professionals, and/or Doctoral level staff.
• Collect data on observable client behavior.
• Implement treatment goals and objectives.
• Provide direct services alongside a team.
• Collaborate with clinicians to provide effective client services.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client data and records.
• Regularly maintain client confidentiality.
