About The Position

A. Rose Pediatric Therapy Center is seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians/ABA Therapists to join their team. The role focuses on using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to help children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental delays acquire essential skills in a supportive and engaging environment. The position involves working closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement therapy techniques and collect data on client progress.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required (Associates or Bachelors preferred)
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is preferred but not required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: spoken and written
• Detail oriented
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
• Effective time management and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children ages 2-10 in a 1:1, classroom, or day care environment
• Experience implementing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 therapy with clients under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Utilize therapy techniques consistent with Applied Behavior Analysis by following the protocols outlined in the skill acquisition programming and behavior intervention plan for each client.
• Collect and record objective data
• Maintain accurate, complete progress notes and other written records in accordance with program policies
• Communicate professionally with team members, supervisors, and caregivers regarding client progress
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment
• Maintain client safety and confidentiality
• Provide crisis intervention as needed
• Contribute to a positive work environment
• Work as a team to share responsibilities and duties, including assisting in general administrative duties when not with clients as directed.
