The Behavior Technician Supervisor (BTS) is the bridge between Behavior Support Technicians (BSTs), people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and day-to-day operations of Individual Supported living (ISL). You will encourage and mentor individuals and Behavior Support Technicians by supporting them in maximizing their full potential. The BTS role is involved in providing training and supports to all aspects of individuals life activities and to BSTs working within their assigned clients' home (ISL). Training and support for individuals includes: Daily life skills of: Cooking Cleaning Hygiene Purchasing of groceries Food preparation Medication administration Behavioral care Community participation Management of personal funds Training and support for BSTs and the ISL includes assisting the Program Supervisor in: Helping implement personal plans (the story of the individual you’re serving including their history, goals, and achievements) Implementing and communicating directives Maintaining necessary records and reports Contributing to the development and maintenance of a therapeutic environment (keeping their houses happy and cozy) If we didn’t get your attention yet - The Arc of the Ozarks also offers competitive pay and benefits.
