About The Position

The Hope Autism Clinic, a division of the nationally recognized non-profit Hope, is dedicated to providing the highest quality therapeutic services to local communities, ensuring every child and family has the opportunity to thrive. Serving children aged 2-8, the clinic offers applied behavior analytic services (ABA), parent and family guidance, and in some settings, speech therapy. Each child's treatment plan and goals are individualized, with professionals collaborating for optimal client outcomes. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent education.
  • Successful background clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a psychology, education, or human services related field.
  • Experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
  • Enthusiasm for working with children.
  • Has obtained Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the Hope Autism Clinic to teach children with ASD using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  • Effectively communicate with families/guardians about their child’s progress.
  • Work with the treatment team to track session data and help clients achieve individualized communication and early learning goals.
  • Assist with planning and preparing for clinic-based group activities.
  • Model professional appearance and attitudes.
