Behavior Technician / Registered Behavior Technician (Daytime Hours)
About The Position
Sunflower Development Center is seeking compassionate, reliable Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our growing team for daytime center-based, home-based, and community-based services. We provide high-quality, ethical ABA services to children and families in a supportive, collaborative environment that values clinical integrity, professional growth, and work-life balance. Position Details • Daytime hours (weekday availability required) • Center-based, home-based, and community-based sessions • Consistent schedules with opportunities for growth • Supportive supervision and ongoing training
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation for home and community sessions
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older (required for insurance purposes)
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, including CORI, fingerprinting, and other required clearances
- Ability to meet all state, insurance, and regulatory requirements for ABA service delivery
Nice To Haves
- RBT certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized ABA treatment plans designed by a BCBA
- Collect accurate data on client progress
- Use positive, child-centered teaching strategies
- Support skill development in communication, social, adaptive, and behavioral domains
- Collaborate with supervisors, families, and team members
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards
