About The Position

Hiring for C-shift only, Monday - Thursday, 3:30 pm - 6 pm. What we are looking for: Do you strive to make a difference in the lives of those around you? If you already have your RBT, we offer sign-on bonuses! Why join us? We start all our Behavior Techs as Part-time in order to provide ample training and support their entry into the field of ABA. Once someone's through their RBT training course they can stay Part-time or go Full-time. If Full-time is the goal we will quickly build up to a 30 hour per week caseload. That's right, 30/hr a week is Full-time status. Full-time staff are eligible for the whole benefits package. Part-time employees are eligible for select benefits.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have High School Diploma or GED
  • Must pass background check (will include fingerprints)
  • Must have at least 1-year experience working with Children
  • Active Driver's License and/or access to reliable transportation to and from work
  • RBT or Bachelor's Degree (On-Site training provided for RBT certification)
  • Maintain BLS Certificate (On-Site training provided for BLS)

Responsibilities

  • Providing one-on-one behavioral intervention services to children with special needs and support to their families under the close supervision of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst).
  • Working with clients in-home, in-school, in-center, and in the community.
  • Assessing and evaluating the effectiveness of the Behavior Support Plan in achieving identified goals and objectives by collecting data and writing progress notes.
  • Effective communication with supervisors and parents is essential to the RBT’s success and must be present at all times.
  • Completing a BACB-approved RBT course and keep registration current.
  • Understanding and adhering to established policies and procedures, standards, and consistently interpreting and accurately performing all assigned responsibilities.
  • Pairing and building rapport with clients, families, stakeholders and their Team members.
  • Attending all collaboration, case meetings, and team training meetings.
  • Recording detailed session notes, keeping accurate client data in real-time, and maintaining records well documented.
  • Observing confidentiality and safeguarding all patient-related information.
  • Demonstrating effective time-management skills through daily documentation and infrequent overtime for routine assignments.
  • Maintaining a clean and neat work environment.
  • Demonstrating sound judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making.
  • Exemplary skills in self-management and communication.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
