The Behavior Technician provides one-on-one behavioral intervention services to children with special needs and support to their families under the close supervision of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst). RBTs may work with clients in-home, in-school, in-center, and in the community. Each Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will continue to assess and evaluate the effectiveness of the Behavior Support Plan in achieving identified goals and objectives by collecting data and writing progress notes. Effective communication with supervisors and parents is essential to the RBT’s success and must be present at all times. Training is provided for those who want to make a career move into the world of behavior analytics.
