About The Position

Arc Light Behavioral Health Collective (www.arclightbhc.com) is a small BCBA-owned company seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients in Waterbury, CT. This role involves working one-on-one with children and adolescents diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans, and supporting skill development under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). We pride ourselves on our approach to treatment that centers around the individual and supports the family. Requirements

  • Active RBT certification (preferred)
  • Minimum one year of experience working with children or adolescents with developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, or related fields
  • Strong time management skills and ability to manage a caseload efficiently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and professionalism
  • Passion for helping children and adolescents reach their full potential
  • Ability to work independently in-home with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized ABA treatment plans for children and adolescents in a home setting under the guidance of a BCBA
  • Support behavior management strategies, ensuring consistency and adherence to treatment plans
  • Supervise community outings and run objectives in real- world settings
  • Assist in creating client materials to support intervention goals
  • Provide parent training and collaborate with families to reinforce learning and progress
  • Maintain accurate data collection and timely documentation of clinical services
  • Work with clients who have a history of aggression and elopement (though rarely engage in it) and demonstrate confidence in managing challenging behaviors
  • Maintain a reliable and consistent schedule with families to ensure effective therapy implementation
  • Follow BACB ethical guidelines and company policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
