Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) — Clinic -Based
About The Position
Autism Center of Excellence is hiring experienced Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism in our Colonial Heights clinic. This role is ideal for candidates who already have experience working with children in ABA, behavioral health, education, or similar pediatric environments and are looking for a supportive, team -focused clinical setting with consistent weekday hours. Our mission is to help children with autism gain independence and confidence through best -in -class ABA services. Requirements
- Experience working with children
- Professional, reliable, and compassionate
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Availability to work weekdays in Colonial Heights, VA
- Ability to pass background screening
Nice To Haves
- Prior ABA, behavioral health, education, or childcare experience
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
Responsibilities
- Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to children
- Implement treatment plans under BCBA supervision
- Support communication, social, and daily living skill development
- Collect accurate session data and documentation
- Maintain a safe, positive learning environment
- Collaborate closely with the clinical team and families
