  • Facilitate learning and playing in groups
  • Collect data
  • Implement feedback from supervisors
  • Direct Treatment (client face-to-face hours, 25 - 35 hours/week): Implements procedures by which client's objectives will be met in accordance with the client's assessment and treatment plan to fidelity.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of procedures using direct observation, data collection, and discusses progress with the clinical supervisor.
  • Provides input on the need for new objectives and treatments as targets are mastered.
  • Notifies supervisor(s) of any critical incidents immediately and completes an incident report.
  • Documentation and Administrative Tasks: Documents client's progress in daily data collection and session notes on treatment goals.
  • Converts 'timesheet,' completes session note, and ensures session start and end times are accurate.
  • Attends regularly scheduled staff meetings, required training, and other meetings as assigned and effectively communicates with all stakeholders.
  • Completes all tasks related to preparation for sessions and cleaning up after completed sessions.
  • Informs supervisor immediately of any important concerns pertaining to families' or schools' services.
  • Cooperates with special requests made by supervisor(s).
  • Professionalism and Ethics: Attends sessions as assigned on time and maintains a professional appearance.
  • Listens to constructive feedback and responds appropriately.
  • Maintains the security of all media containing client protected health information, including electronic media, and returns media to his/her supervisor when appropriate.
  • Prepares all services and documents in a manner that is culturally sensitive and linguistically appropriate and sensitive to the family's/school staff's concerns.
  • Returns phone calls and emails (using work assigned email account) within 24 - 48 business hours.
  • High School Diploma is required; completion of associate degree/bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, special education, or related field is strongly preferred.
  • Commitment to earning a Registered Behavior Technician credential within 60 - 90 days of hire (must sit for RBT test, training and supervision provided by Little Leaves).
  • Experience working with children with special needs, e.g., autism or developmental delays.
  • Ability to follow instructional guidance and to follow ABA programs.
  • Ability to interact well with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a therapy team member.
  • Ability to work well independently and seek assistance when needed.
  • Possess strong attention to detail for data collection.
  • Organized, flexible and willing to take constructive feedback and apply it to improve the quality of programming and one's own professional development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Able to maintain client confidentiality.
  • Technologically adept.
