Little Leaves Behavioral Services is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) aged 1 to 6. As a Behavior Technician (BT), you will work one-on-one with these children, delivering individualized treatment based on evidence-based practices such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). You will be a vital part of the therapy team, facilitating learning and play, collecting data, and implementing feedback from supervisors. This role is not just about treatment; it's about fostering meaningful development and achieving positive outcomes for children and their families.

  • Provide 1:1 treatment to assigned clients aged 18 months to 6 years based on evidence-based practices.
  • Implement individual treatment plans for assigned caseloads according to client assessments and treatment plans.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of procedures through direct observation and data collection, discussing progress with the clinical supervisor.
  • Document client progress in daily data collection and session notes, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Attend staff meetings, training, and other required meetings, effectively communicating with all stakeholders.
  • Maintain professionalism and ethics, including timely attendance and maintaining a professional appearance.
  • Preserve client confidentiality and rights while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • High School Diploma required; completion of an associate or bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, special education, or a related field preferred.
  • Commitment to earning a Registered Behavior Technician credential within 60 - 90 days of hire.
  • Experience working with children with special needs, such as autism or developmental delays.
  • Ability to follow instructional guidance and ABA programs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technologically adept and able to maintain client confidentiality.
  • Experience in a therapeutic or educational setting with children.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a therapy team.
  • Organized, flexible, and willing to take constructive feedback for professional development.
  • Competitive hourly wage of USD $20.00 - $22.00 per hour.
  • Training and supervision provided for earning the Registered Behavior Technician credential.
