About The Position

As a Behavior Technician (ABA), you will work one-on-one with autistic children using applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy. Our technicians strive to help children develop better social skills, assist with grooming & hygiene, toilet training, treatment of picky eating, and managing problem behaviors. You will receive ongoing supervision and immediate assistance from our team of behavior analysts. The Behavior Technician also participates in data collection, training, and team collaboration. Training is provided to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). The Child Study Center is comprised of two clinical programs: Autism Services (long-term comprehensive treatment) and the Behavior Disorders Clinic (short-term focused treatment) . Hours: Monday - Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm. No nights; no weekends. Off for Spring/Summer breaks, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Breaks. Requirements

  • High school Diploma required
  • Must obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within 6 months of hire (all training is provided)
  • CPR Heartsaver training must be completed within 60 days of start date

Nice To Haves

  • bachelor's in child development or psychology preferred
  • Prior experience working with children in a daycare, school, or clinic setting preferred
  • Previous experience working with autistic or at-risk children preferred
