Requirements

  • High school diploma required; RBT certification preferred (paid training available)
  • Must obtain RBT certification before working independently with clients
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism
  • Comfortable working with diverse populations across various settings
  • Able to remain calm, patient, and professional in challenging situations
  • Ability to sit, stand, kneel, bend, and move throughout sessions, including working on the floor for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 40 lbs
  • Reliable transportation required

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Child Development, or related field
  • RBT certification preferred (paid training available)

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Implement treatment plans developed by the Clinical Manager/BCBA
  • Use ABA techniques such as behavior management, discrete trial training (DTT), and social skills development
  • Collect and record accurate data during each session
  • Follow all clinical guidelines and support the client's progress towards goals
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
  • Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the Clinical Manager
  • Maintain professionalism and composure in challenging situations (e.g., behaviors such as aggression or tantrums)
  • Implement behavior intervention strategies and follow clinical guidance
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members
  • Follow directions and collaborate with supervisors and clinical staff
  • Engage actively with children using energy, creativity, and a positive approach
