The Behavior Support Specialist will work with youth and adults who have behavioral challenges and provide support to help them achieve their goals. The specialist will work with a team of professionals to develop and implement behavior support plans, provide training to staff and caregivers, and monitor progress. Provide Therapeutic Behavioral Services to clients by consulting with a licensed clinician to assist with the individual's needs. Provide service planning for individualized supports or care coordinator of healthcare, behavioral health, non-healthcare services and development of a treatment plan. Provide linkage, interventions, treatment options, restoration of daily life skills and crisis prevention services. Provide services to individual clients or groups of clients. Promote a positive and cooperative relationship with all outside contacts.
