About The Position

Being a Behavior Support Specialist at Devereux PA Children's Services has its Advantages As a Behavior Support Specialist (BSS) you will work with our Brandywine School students who have frequent challenging behaviors in a school setting which is located on our West Chester, PA campus. Every day as a Behavior Support Specialist you will: Provide behavior management support to individuals in a school setting. Carry out specific interventions that are developed by the Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Transfer skills to individuals’ natural support in the least restrictive environment. Support teachers in managing student behaviors in the classroom. You will be offered.... Requirements
- Registered Behavior Technician certification or RBT eligible; required.
- At least 1 year of work experience with children or adolescents with behavior challenges preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in a human service field preferred.
