THE ROLE When you join the YES Prep team, some of the exciting work and responsibilities will include: Executing lower-level behavior interventions with students of concern, including check-ins and check-outs, student reflections and de-escalation; Helping progress monitor student behavior trackers; Conducting in-class push ins/pull outs to help with de-escalation and coping skills; Monitoring students in detention and in-school suspension; Performing discipline data entry; Assisting Teachers with the supervision of students in all instructional settings; Assisting Teachers with behavior management techniques by demonstrating, modeling, and positively reinforcing desired behaviors; Monitoring students during transition times throughout the school day, inside and outside of the classroom, including hallways, cafeteria, gym, and other areas where students are present; Monitoring in-school suspension; Holding students accountable to campus behavioral expectations and administer appropriate consequences; Additional duties as assigned.
