The Behavior Specialist supports students receiving Special Education services and students identified through the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), coaching teachers to ensure behavior supports are implemented with fidelity, and strengthening proactive classroom behavior systems. The Behavior Specialist works collaboratively with campus leadership, teachers, case managers, families, and related service providers to promote positive student outcomes, build teacher capacity, and ensure compliance with IDEA and district procedures.
