Spectrum for Living, a New Jersey not-for-profit organization, helps adults with developmental disabilities attain their maximum potential by providing quality housing and clinical services in state-of-the-art facilities. Responsibilities include developing behavioral support plans and methodologies tailored to each client’s individual needs. The role involves monitoring and documenting client progress through consistent data collection, as well as preparing monthly and quarterly summary reports. Periodic testing, assessments, and direct client observations are conducted to ensure accurate evaluations. The position requires active participation in annual Individual Service Plan (ISP) reviews and interdisciplinary team meetings. Additionally, attendance at psychiatric appointments and assistance in monitoring and reviewing client medications are expected. Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team in the development of ISP plans is essential. The role also provides clinical support, coaching, and guidance to Direct Support Professionals, along with training staff in crisis management techniques and the implementation of behavior support plans.
