About The Position

Provide consistent, one-on-one behavioral and instructional support to a middle school student under the direction of a BCBA. Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and/or Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), following skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols. Collect, record, and maintain accurate behavioral and academic data daily. Collaborate with teachers, special educators, BCBAs, and school staff to ensure consistent implementation of strategies. Support the student in developing independence, social skills, and classroom engagement. Participate in relevant team meetings and trainings as directed.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred).
  • Prior experience working with children or adolescents in educational or clinical settings.
  • Strong ability to follow behavior plans and collect accurate data.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with school teams and families.
  • Ability to pass background checks and meet school district employment requirements.
