About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Special Education or designee, plans, organizes, coordinates, supervises and is responsible for providing supportive consulting services to assist staff and families in the development and implementation of comprehensive behavior intervention plans for students. The employee in this classification trans, monitors, supervises and evaluates those instructional Assistants who deal with students with behavior plans on his/her caseload. This position requires knowledge of Applied behavior sciences, psychology, and education including ASD and other related disorders.

Requirements

  • Must hold Pupil Personnel Services Credential.
  • Must have School Psychology Authorization.
  • Knowledge of applied behavior sciences, psychology, and education including ASD and related disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and coordinate supportive consulting services for staff and families.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive behavior intervention plans for students.
  • Monitor, supervise, and evaluate instructional assistants dealing with students with behavior plans.
