About The Position

Join TERI Inc. as a Behavior Management Technician and make a real difference in the lives of adults in our Supported Living Services program. In this role, you’ll provide direct support, implement behavior plans, and use your expertise to safely de-escalate behavioral situations while promoting independence and skill development. Requirements

Must be female to meet the privacy and comfort needs of clients
6+ months’ experience working with individuals with challenging behaviors using positive behavior support and other behavior intervention strategies.
Demonstrated ability to de-escalate challenging behaviors safely and effectively.
Must possess 40-hour behavior training from BACB
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), preferred Associate of Arts.

Responsibilities

Provide direct support and care to adults in the Supported Living Services program, assisting with daily living activities
Implement behavior support plans and interventions under the guidance of QIDP/Program Manager.
De-escalate challenging behavioral situations using approved techniques.
Utilize positive behavior support and other behavior intervention strategies.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of behaviors, interventions, and progress.
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development.
Assist with household operations as required (meal prep, cleaning, transportation, and activities).
Monitor client safety at all times and respond appropriately to emergencies.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure compliance with agency policies and state regulations.
