About The Position

Join TERI Inc. as a Behavior Management Technician and make a real difference in the lives of adults in our Supported Living Services program. Requirements

  • Must be female to meet the privacy and comfort needs of clients
  • 6+ months’ experience working with individuals with challenging behaviors using positive behavior support and other behavior intervention strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to de-escalate challenging behaviors safely and effectively.
  • Must possess 40-hour behavior training from BACB
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), preferred Associate of Arts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support and care to adults in the Supported Living Services program, assisting with daily living activities
  • Implement behavior support plans and interventions under the guidance of QIDP/Program Manager.
  • De-escalate challenging behavioral situations using approved techniques.
  • Utilize positive behavior support and other behavior intervention strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of behaviors, interventions, and progress.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development.
  • Assist with household operations as required (meal prep, cleaning, transportation, and activities).
  • Monitor client safety at all times and respond appropriately to emergencies.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure compliance with agency policies and state regulations.
