About The Position

Take a lead role in the development, implementation, data-collection, and training of behavior plans for people with disabilities served across the agency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, human services or related field.
  • Working toward a Master’s degree in an applied area of psychology, social work, or special education.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience working with people with special needs.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree from a program in a clinical or treatment field of psychology, social work, school psychology, or applied psychology.
  • National board certification in behavior analysis (BCBA).
  • License in mental health counseling with 5 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement behavior plans for individuals with disabilities.
  • Collect and analyze data related to behavior management.
  • Train staff on behavior management techniques and plans.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and supervisors regarding behavior management.
  • Travel to community and other sites to assist in behavior management.
  • Work flexible hours as required by the program.
