The position involves providing behavior support to designated students with an Individualized Education Program (IEP) as outlined in the Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP). The Behavior Interventionist (BII) will work under the direction of the Behavior Intervention Developer (BID), Education Specialist, and General Education Teacher. Responsibilities include participating in data collection on behaviors, implementing the BIP, and assisting teachers in maintaining a conducive learning environment. The BII will also help students organize materials, maintain safety, communicate with staff about student progress, and monitor student behavior using approved techniques.
