Youth and Family - Behavior Interventionist
About The Position
Looking for experience working with children with diverse needs? Join our Intensive School Supports Program (ISSP) at the Counseling Service of Addison County, and receive the on-going support and training to excel in supporting these individuals. Behavior Interventionists focus mainly on behavioral support and specialized instruction, in-order to increase a student’s ability to access their education. Positions are full-time (39hrs), year-round and all located within the public schools of Addison County. Services outside the school calendar-year focus on community outings, and providing an enriched environment for students when not in school. We are hiring enthusiastic, team-oriented individuals to provide one-on-one supports using a trauma-healing, Applied Behavior Analysis framework. You will receive the Registered Behavior Technician training upon hire, and continued regular supervision from a BCBA clinician. This program thrives on strong mutual support among team members, and provides a great career development opportunity for those who want to grow in this field.
