The Behavior Interventionist is a school-based teammate who helps create calm, predictable classrooms so students can learn, and families and teachers feel supported. The role provides targeted small-group and 1:1 coaching, de-escalation, and restorative re-entry in close partnership with the Dean of Culture, teachers, counselors, and student support teams. Success looks like fewer repeat incidents, more instructional time for supported students, timely and accurate documentation, and clear follow-through on plans. The Behavior Interventionist implements established routines and intervention plans, manages an in-school support space when assigned, and promptly escalates safety issues to school leaders.
