The Oregon Department of Corrections is looking to temporarily fill a vacancy to work with adults in custody coming into custody at our Intake Center. This exciting employment opportunity works within the Coffee Creek Intake Center in Wilsonville, Oregon and is anticipated to last until 7/4/2025, though, may be extended or decreased due to business need. A snapshot of daily work is primarily focused on completing mental health assessments, including diagnosis according to the DSM 5-TR. Other tasks may include screening new intakes, suicidal risk assessments and safety planning, and attending multidisciplinary team meeting, triaging client needs, and brief crisis support. These positions identify, according to specific criteria, all mentally ill and developmentally disabled (DD) AICs within the institution, coordinate regular contact with clients to conduct mental status examinations, suicide assessments, develop treatment interventions, behavior plans and risk management plans and provide crisis services.
