The Behavior Consultant will conduct descriptive and systematic behavioral assessments, including functional analyses, and provide behavior analytic interpretations of the results. The role involves designing and supervising behavior analytic interventions, developing and implementing appropriate assessment and intervention methods for a range of cases, and teaching others to carry out ethical and effective behavior analytic interventions based on published research. The consultant will supervise the work of Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBA), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT), and others who do not carry a Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) certification. The position ensures that all behavior analytic programming conducted under their supervision is provided in a safe and ethical manner. The consultant will engage in functional assessments of problematic behaviors, establish therapeutic relationships, collect and analyze behavior data, design treatment plans, oversee training, and collaborate with family and treatment team members.
