We encourage you to embrace this opportunity to impact someone’s life. Join our team as a Behavior Clinician, supporting our Portage and South Bend programs. Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am-5pm, with occasional evening hours The Behavior Clinician will assess behavioral strengths/needs of individuals served and write behavior support plans. The behavior clinician is responsible to train staff on implementation of the plan, assess implementation of the plan, monitor ongoing individual behavioral issues, and coordinate behavioral training/needs assessments. Obtain and review complete written records and history of the individual referred for BSP development. Provide recommendations regarding the type of environment, level of support, risk management strategies, and other specialized supports that would be required to provide support to the individual. Complete an on-site review of the individual through observation and interview of the individual. Interview staff that provide direct support to the individual. Interview others who have a working knowledge of the individual, including, but not limited to, social workers, case managers, family members, residential and/or day program staff, etc.
