Requirements

• Any combination equivalent to: graduation from High school, supplemented by training and/or experience working with children in a learning situation.
• 2 Letters of recommendation.
• Must pass Paraprofessional exam before employment offer. If you have 48 college credit units or more, you are exempt from taking the Paraprofessional exam. Attach college transcripts to application.

• Interest in working with individual and small groups of children.

Responsibilities

• Collaboration with the classroom teacher(s) to support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs in order to access the curriculum.
• Implement behavioral programming to support students in the educational setting.
