About The Position

The Behavior Analyst will provide district-wide leadership and expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), supporting and supervising programming and interventions for students across all grade levels.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct supervision and oversight of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and ABA paraprofessionals, including observation, feedback, and competency evaluations.
  • Oversee district-wide ABA programming to ensure fidelity of implementation and alignment with best practices.
  • Provide supervision hours for RBTs and BCBA candidates as appropriate.
  • Mentor and support staff in maintaining ethical and professional standards of ABA practice.
  • Design, implement, and monitor individualized skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction programs.
  • Conduct assessments, including functional behavior assessments (FBA), preference assessments, and other diagnostic tools to inform interventions.
  • Write and maintain Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), progress notes, and IEP goals/objectives.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret student data to guide decision-making and program modifications.
  • Partner with educators, related service providers, district BCBA(s), and administrators to integrate ABA principles into classroom instruction and broader school programming.
  • Serve as a member of school- and district-level problem-solving teams to address student needs, as needed.
  • Collaborate with families to promote consistency of behavioral supports across home and school settings.
  • Provide training, coaching, and professional development for staff (teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators) in evidence-based behavioral practices.
  • Develop district-wide training protocols, resources, and tools to support sustainable ABA practices.
  • Stay current with research, trends, and legal requirements in the field of ABA and special education.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of district ABA programming and recommend adjustments for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations regarding behavioral supports and special education programming.
  • Contribute to district-level planning, program reviews, and audits related to behavioral services.
