Melmark is a nonprofit organization providing clinically-sophisticated evidence-based special education, residential, vocational, and therapeutic services for children and adults diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders, developmental and intellectual disabilities, acquired brain injuries, medical complexities, and other neurological and genetic disorders. The Behavior Analyst is responsible for the development of clinical and educational programming within the classrooms they supervise. The BCBA will develop and conduct individual behavioral assessments and develop students# behavior support plans. The BCBA will oversee the implementation of the students# behavior support plan, data collection and frequent data review. In addition, the behavior analyst will supervise classroom teachers, assisting in the development and implementation of the educational curriculum and individual students# IEP/ISPs. The BCBA will ensure that the programs are appropriate to the ages and populations served. The behavior analyst will work with residential team members to ensure that there is consistent programming across multiple environments. The behavior analyst will maintain regular communication with parents and facilitate family training. The BCBA will provide school staff with training and evaluation ensuring consistent implementation of student specific programming.
