About the position

Come work for MHUSD where you will be a welcome member of a highly collaborative and supportive behavior team! Join us and be one of 6 BCBAs in a district of 13 schools where you will be responsible for only 2-3 school sites and assigned a manageable caseload. Each BCBA works at the school site level to build knowledge and capacity for school staff to effectively implement class wide and individual positive behavior programs, both in general and special education environments. Work closely with school administration teams, service providers, teachers, and paraprofessionals to create a respectful and dignified approach to challenging behaviors in order to support students to access instruction and to make academic and social progress in the least restrictive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with a behavior team.
  • Manage a caseload of 2-3 school sites.
  • Implement class wide and individual positive behavior programs.
  • Support school staff in building knowledge and capacity.
  • Collaborate with school administration, service providers, teachers, and paraprofessionals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's and Master's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in a related field (i.e. psychology, education).
  • Successful completion of all requirements for Board Certification including the passage of the State Certification Examination.
  • Experience working in K-12 educational setting within specialized field of Applied Behavior Analysis with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Valid California driver's license.
  • Letter of Introduction.
  • Three Letters of Recommendation.
  • Resume.
