Before and After School Site Director/Early Learning Professional
About The Position

AlphaBEST Education provides extended day, summer, and enrichment programs that are designed to inspire and engage students while they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment. As an AlphaBEST Site Director , you'll lead a meaningful before and after school program that helps kids learn, grow, and thrive. We're looking for an early learning professional who: Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment Feels confident taking the lead and running a smooth program Takes pride in delivering a high-quality student and family experience Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed In this role, you will:
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification required
- At least 3 years of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership and supervision preferred
- Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation
- Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations
- Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards
- Make child safety the top priority at all times
- Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections
- Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements
- Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring training requirements are met
- Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events
- Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success
