The job of Before and After School Programs District Coordinator is done for the purpose of supporting and coordinating expanded learning opportunities for students and families, including before- and after-school programs. The position serves as the site coordinator for secondary programs. The position assists with program implementation and meeting grant compliance requirements across the district in collaboration with program, school, and district staff, as well as community partners. The position plays a key role in building positive relationships with students, families, staff, and community partners, while ensuring consistent communication and quality programming. The position ensures staff are provided with training, collect and review data for program improvement and state and federal reports.
