About The Position

Looking for experience that matters? AlphaBEST Education provides extended day, summer, and enrichment programs that are designed to inspire and engage students while they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment. As an AlphaBEST Group Leader Assistant, you'll help shape meaningful before and after school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive. We're looking for someone who: Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
• Must have a high school diploma or GED, 3-6 months experience in a childcare educational setting
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts) while encouraging positive peer interactions
• Make child safety the top priority at all times
• Keep the space clean and organized
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff
