About The Position
As a Before & After School Care Development Professional at the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows (BGCTM), you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of children while enjoying a fun and fulfilling school-year job. You'll work with kids on a variety of activities, including art projects, sports, fitness, and more, helping them to develop new skills, build confidence, and make new friends. These are some of the additional things you will do as a Youth Care Professional: You'll be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for children, planning and leading activities, and serving as a positive role model and mentor. Requirements
- You are a fun, energetic, and excited individual
- You want to pursue a career in education and childcare such as: HDFS, CDA, Education, Counseling etc…
- You have a passion for building a better community
- You have the ability to communicate and cooperate with children, other staff and parents.
- Minimum of 17 years or older
- You will need to provide 3 references.
- You will also be asked to complete a drug screen for any illegal substances, background check, and fingerprint check.
