About The Position
AlphaBEST Education Group Leader/Summer Camp instructor Elementary schools within the Weld RE4 School District (Windsor/Severance area) Pay: $16.25/ hour Schedule: Before/After School hours: AM shifts: 6:30 am till 8:15 am (depending on location) PM shifts: 2:00 pm (depending on location) till 6:00 pm Having too much FUN!?!? Extending your employment into the summer is a possibility. Summer Camp hours are as follows: Summer Camp operates 7:00 am - 6:00 pm M-F Looking for experience that matters? AlphaBEST Education provides extended-day, summer, and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students as they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment. As an AlphaBEST Group Leader , you'll help shape meanin gful before and after-school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive. We're looking for an early learning professional who: Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a minimum of 460 verifiable hours of experience with children (ages 4+). Your experience must be after you were 18 years or older
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
- Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by CO childcare licensing regulations
- Proof of experience as required by CO childcare licensing regulations
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts) while encouraging positive peer interactions
- Make child safety the top priority at all times
- Keep the space clean and organized
- Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included
- Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff
