About The Position

BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM SITE DIRECTOR 90 Hour certification needed for licensing requirements- 45 hours growth and development 45 hours school age curriculum Location :PG County MD Francis Scott Key Elementary School Pay: $21.00 Hours: AM shift 7am-9am PM shift 2:15pm-6pm Ready to lead with purpose? As an AlphaBEST Site Director , you'll lead a meaningful before and after school program that helps kids learn, grow, and thrive. We're looking for someone who: Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment Feels confident taking the lead and running a smooth program Takes pride in delivering a high-quality student and family experience Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed In this role, you will: Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards Make child safety the top priority at all times Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring training requirements are met Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success Why Join Us? Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
• Must be registered and have full clearance from the state childcare licensing agency
• Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations (see below)
• Proof of experience through ONE of the following options is required:
• Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA in a related field) or Associate's Degree (AS/AA in a related field)
• A 1-year state or nationally recognized credential (related to school-age care)
• Completion of 20 credits (semester system) or 30 credits (quarter system) of training at a college/university AND at least 1 year of qualifying teaching experience in a Certified Child Care Center (or comparable group care program)
• 2 or more years of qualifying teaching experience (with at least one year as a teacher) in a Certified Child Care Center (or comparable group care program)
• 90 Hour certification needed for licensing requirements- 45 hours growth and development 45 hours school age curriculum
