As a Before & After Care Worker, you will be responsible for assisting in maintenance of an orderly, safe and pleasant atmosphere in the cafeteria, on the playground and in other designated locations by helping and supervising students during authorized before or after school programs in accordance with CSUSA policy and established school procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or higher education credential.
• Previous experience as daycare assistant or summer camp counselor, preferred.
• Must like children.
• Commitment to company values.
• Such alternatives to the above requirements as CSUSA may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Reflect a professional manner and provide excellent customer service.
• Resolve conflicts with children and parents.
• Be firm but friendly and courteous when dealing with parents, children, and co-workers.
• Follow proper student sign in and dismissal procedures for Before Care.
• Follow proper student check in and dismissal procedures for After Care.
• Monitor students.
• Observe who enters and leaves childcare area.
• Pass out snacks.
• Play with students on the playground.
• Tutor and assist students with homework.
• Resolve conflicts with children and parents.
