Beer Traffic Controller
About The Position
There's lots of things we're proud of here at MAP, but one thing we're especially proud of is being the largest self-distributing brewery in the state. Here's the deal, though: we can't continue to do it without your help. The Beer Traffic Controller (Warehouse & Distribution Manager) oversees delivery routes, drivers, line cleaning, and inventory. This position sets the drivers and line cleaners up for the day, and preps the warehouse for beer going out each morning. The BTC needs to be organized and efficient, as this position has a lot of moving parts, managing needs between the tasting room, the production team, and the wholesale team. Our BTC keeps tabs on orders and maintains accurate inventory. This role truly keeps the wholesale ship movin in the right direction as the main go-between with the production and wholesale teams, helping keep everyone organized and operating efficiently. This is an extremely physical job that requires nearly constant movement and physical exertion throughout each day. Kegs are heavy, so you'll need to be able to repeatedly lift them (165 lbs). We're looking for someone who is trustworthy, motivated, reliable, personable, detail oriented, and has a good driving record. Did we mention that lifting kegs is a crucial part of this job? We do use hand trucks to walk kegs from vehicles to accounts but there will be times where you’ll have to lift them manually. Beer line cleaning will also be tasked on certain days of the week when there are no deliveries. Experience with beer and draught line maintenance is a plus, but we will train on the job for the right person!

Responsibilities
- Hiring, training, and directly managing a team of 3-5 Delivery Drivers
- Helping drivers out the door each morning (mostly M-F)
- Draught line cleaning prep and training, including ordering supplies
- All warehouse/storage/coolers inventory, organization, and maintenance
- Oversee maintenance on vehicle fleet
- Prep orders for the following day including monitoring online orders being placed
- Cover for delivery drivers and sales reps in the field as needed
